Meetings: At our monthly meetings we enjoy a Program, Show & Tell, announcements and prizes.
Workshops: We typically hold a couple of Workshops each year.
Newsletter: Members receive a monthly newsletter with details of events and opportunities within and outside our guild.
Library: Our Library provides members with access to over 200 books and the opportunity to meet up at the monthly “Library Hour”.
Sew Days: Once a month we get together on a Saturday via Zoom to sew together, working on our own projects.
Retreats: We generally have 2 or 3 retreats each year, including a mid-week “away” retreat and a week-end “sleep in your own bed” retreat held locally.
Community Outreach: Our members are encouraged through various challenges to make quilts for worthy causes. Recent initiatives have included the following organizations: Blankets of Love – BabyGoRound. Some groups within the guild, who meet regularly to make and donate quilts, accept finished quilts and quilt tops from members.
Challenges: Members can participate in challenges such as completing an unfinished project, making a quilt inspired by one of our library books or making a quilt for our current outreach initiative.
